Having start up issues on my ap1
Well I posted this to get everyone's say so of what they think it is... Could I hOok my laptop up to my Ems and tune it myself.. Bc I also thought launch control was cool but that was a fail I want it off..
Rev hang probably means your decel fuel cut isn't setup. Check out my thread in the engine mgmt subforum.
I wrote a whole thread on how to fix accel and decel.
Not surprised, they didn't give you a 'full tune'. it's soo sad when you don't understand what your paying for and can't verify what they actually did (even if you were present during the whole process).
Accel/decel, start up is where corners are usually cut. Start up is understandable since they would have to keep your car overnight or a few days to get coldstart right. You would think the experienced tuners have a basemap with all this stuff figured out.
The obvious stuff they spend time on like wot to get u good dyno numbers or peak hp, rev limiters, shift lights and other gadgets, and idle.
If you're lucky they'll spend the time to calibrate your knock sensor and optimize wideband feedback for economy. At this point, i personally just expect them to do a good job with the fuel/ignition maps and prove to me an optimal vtec point. the rest of the tune i would take care of myself.

Another option is to rent an hour of dyno time, do some data logging and find a reputable tuner who can do mail-order tunes. Its not unheard of and certainly can work out well if you can get repeatable data logs. I don't know how much a new crank sensor costs but I'd see about fixing the tune before you replace things without knowing.

Ahhh haas haas new issue my car sat 5 hours in my garage in 60degrees I just got in and started it up and the car was 5 bars 1 away from over heating so I shut car off in restarted it and it went to 2 bars wtf did they do to my car
temp gauge inconsistency is normal for the first like 30 seconds of driving. happens with kpro, aem, even the haltech i think.
i don't think there's anyway to fix it. if you really want to verify the temp, plug your laptop in. my temp gauge might read full bars after the car sat all night, by the time i drove a block it's completely normal.

Im gonna take my car back to the tuner tomarrow. I almost don't wanna go back bc I don't want him to f@#k up my car even more
