Default Header Blanket and Heat wrapped

Iv read that the wrap will smoke and smell for a while till it burn everything off but I think doing both wrap and blanket was a bad idea.... iv spent like $140 now after 2 50ft rolls and the blanket.

I put Titanium exhaust wrap AND a header blanket on my header and put it back on last night.... Iv started it 3 times and sat for maybe 5 min at the most and I have to turn the car off because it starts smoking like its on fire!!!!! This seems like wayyyyyyy too much smoke and am thinking running both, blanket and wrap, is a No No.....

I really wana drive my car :/

Can anyone help.... I feel like the blanket is going to make the wrap catch on fire. The amount of smoke, and smell is nuts!!! And no the header was nice and clean no oils on it.

I would have fire extinguisher or garden hose handy and let it run on idle for bit longer...

I always wear heavy duty latex gloves while installing wrap to limit the oils from my hands causing excessive smoke. It will smoke for a while. I drove mine for 3 days before the smoke and smell went away. I drove about 75-100 miles in that time frame.

The wraps do smoke for a while and stink up quite a bit. I wrapped my pipes on my bike and would create a smoke cloud when at lights.
