Default Header latch for top

My header latch on the drivers side of top needs adjustment, it isn't pulling the top tight,
and getting wind noise. Can't figure out how to adjust so it pulls down tighter. [FONT=Times]

I have never attempted this but if the Catch that is on the windsheild has ability to slide forward it would make it tighter. I need to look into this as well. I also hear Hard Top Catches are better? Someone want to verify?

Hardtop strikers should make for a tighter seal.

If you want a quick/temp fix, go to WalMart or Petco and get some clear plastic fish tank tubing and slide it over the hook part of the latch. It should help it latch tighter.

Check the DIY/FAQ for the "hardtop striker" install.
that may not be the exact title.....and it could be under like "soft top fix" just look around you'll find it.

Check your strikers, to see if a groove has been worn.....this is your tell tell sign to swap for HT Strikers, and you can get them through Hardtop Guy for a pretty good price.

The first MY's strikers were a softer metal. the HT strikers (and teh newer cars) are the newer metal.
