headers

i just put my headers in and some one told me not to tighten them as hard as i could but to use a torque something up to 95 psi is this true

do not torque to 95 ft lbs!!! I am unsure what torque it needs to be, but 95 is way to much!!! Rims are around 80ft lb I believe.

According the the factory service manual, the torque specification for the "Self-Locking Nut" used to fasten the header to the head is 23 lb-ft.

I was going to post 20, but I was not 100% sure and did not want to post something that was not right.
