I've found a good deal on AP2 headlight, but without ballast

Do my JDM/EDM AP1 ballast fit on them ?

AP1 ballasts are slightly larger and wont bolt on directly. You can make it work with custom brackets, but you'll also need to cut the AP2 housing to fit the AP1 ballast wiring through.

 

They do not just fit, you have to mount them pretty ghetto and you have you cut the hell out of the headlight housing. That could easily kill the value of the lights if you do that. Just find some ap2 ballast and ignitors and bolt right up to them and go. Then you can easily sell your ap1 lights with ballast and everything also for more cash.

 

Try searching Ebay for the ballasts and igniters, I got them all NIB for very good prices. Having the mfgr # helps alot because for some odd reson, honda marks them up alot for the S2000 and you can get them significantly cheaper when badged for another car.

 

i heard that if you disconnect the wire on the ballast that goes to the headlight, plug it into the headlight, and then connect it back to the ballast works too?? but don't quote me on that. I remember reading that around somewhere i think.

 

Nag, in the DIY section, you can find AP1 to AP2 Headlights conversion with AP1 Ballast (had to cut, etc)

J'avais regardé à l'époque aussi, mais maintenant je veux juste des feux US avec le "amber side"

 

Does it mean other Honda car sharing the same parts for ballast and igniters? Do u know which model?
