Headlight went out during hard acceleration
I accelerated hard earlier from 1st; when I shifted to 3rd it looked like my lights went out, but couldn't tell due to the street lights. I turned onto a side street and I could see my lights, so I figured nothing actually happened. Well when I pulled up to the checkpoint on base, the guard said my headlight was out. Sure enough, I got home and my left headlight was out. I don't know if both went out and one came back on, or if just the left one went out.
I don't have my tools with me so I cant just pop off the bumper and check out the headlight to see if anything is wrong. Just think it's weird to go out during a shift under hard acceleration. Any thoughts on this?

Just acquire this car (you just joined us)? Some details on it might help. The HID low beams dim with age as do their ballasts so this could be just extreme "old age." Or contact corrosion or even a fuse. Left and right headlights are on different fuses. Unless and until you check this stuff there's little we can tell you. Our cars ain't fast enough to damage anything during hard acceleration.
Remove the bumper to check the bulb??? What mods have been done to the car?
Air Force or Navy "base"?
