Heat Resistant Paint / Materials
Hello fellow S2Ki.com members,
First of all, I severly lack knowledge in all aspects of the mechanics of ANY cars, so please bare with me while I throw some non-practical ideas out here.
What are some heat resistant paint or materials that we can purchase in the market? Reason is that I was thinking that perhaps we can spray it onto the existing OEM intake box / arm to reduce the amount of heat that surrounds the system.
As well, can we paint this on exhaust systems? The pipes? The whole muffler?
Lets say, Spugen singles - can we spray the whole piping and muffler with these materials to reduce heat?

Lets just say paint/coating won't help with the issue you are speaking of. Paint/coatings will provide protection to the base material, enhance looks, or allow easier care......but won't really help with the heat issue.
In fact the spugen piping allready has a coating on it and painting a muffler would look like a$$ IMO.
