Default help! 2006 s2000 propeller shaft

help! 2006 s2000 propeller shaft. yeah guys i broke my stock propeler shaft on my 06.

i was wondering if any ap2 propeller shaft will work for my car. and how will i know its a real ap2 propeler shaft if i dont have them side by side coz i bought an ap1 and it didnt work so i have to return it. also, what should i look for as a marking or sign that it is a real ap2 propeler shaft.

also, i know that the driveshaftshop makes propeler shaft for the s2000 but i want to know if it will work for my 06 also. and how much do they cost plus rush shipping.

hope to hear some good feedback soon.

thanks

The AP2 shaft uses larger bolts.

I would more like to know how it happened. But should definitely be covered under warranty. Sounds more like a defect to me, usually the diff goes first, or so I thought

heres the story guys.
i change my clutch flywheel and final gear about 6 months ago. we have speculation that the propeller shaft is the weak link in between the tranny and the diff now since i have the an aftermarket clutch flywheel and 4.56 final gears. or it can be due to me pushing the car to the limit since i like going to the canyons and doing burn outs, but i only drive the car a bout once a week. or may be the mechanic didnt do the right torque for installing the propeller shaft.but watever the reason is, i cant take my car back to the dealer coz i have done lots of mods to d car already and it would not be practical puting it back to stock as comparing to buying a new one or used one.

so any ap2 propeller shaft will work for the 2006 right?

+1!

a lot of other parts are going to break before the prop shaft starts to come apart, you should slap your mechanic
