Default Help! Brakes won't bleed!

Backstory: changed all my pads and rotors and while the fronts were a breeze, I had to come inside and look up how to compress the pistons in the rear. By the time I came back out, one of the pistons came out and was hanging by the rubber boot. I put it back in and went on with the pad/rotor change. I've tried both the 2 man and gravity methods to bleed the air out and now none of my brakes will bleed. I tried pumping the pedal to get it going and nothing came out of the bleeders either before or after pumping it.

Will also mention, i forgot to pull the res cap off and remove some fluid before compressing the piston and overflow occurred. Was wondering if the added pressure could have burst something in the line or even the master itself. However, I can't find any leaks.

The pedal doesn't drop straight to the floor, but it feels sort of like the clutch. It does go all the way to the floor though and won't build pressure. When I press it down, I can hear what sounds like blowing air fast through a straw.

Please help! Any suggestions/advice would be helpful!

Let me know if there is any more info I can give you to help narrow this down. Thanks in advance guys!

It's happened to me before it just took me a long time to bleed because of all the air in the system

Didn't notice even a drop around the piston and I put it back in as soon as I walked back outside but everything on Google or anything else I've looked up lead me to believe that the piston coming out leads to air in the lines every time.

Probably have Air in master cylinder. Bleed that first then bleed each wheel individually.

There is a good chance the bleeders are clogged with crude. Take the bleeders out of the caliper and unclog them with a paper clip. Clean and reinstall. See if that helps.

Plunger in the master was shot. No fluid would drain from the res to the lines. Found this out when I took the lines off the master and nary a drop came out. New (used) master will be in shortly and I'll update.
