just went outside to try to start my car.....full power, no crank. Im pressing the start button and can here the clicking from the switch. Starter is not trying to crank. Any suggestions?

Car has been parked for about 1.5 days. Nothing was left on. Never happened before.

i have a feeling your vafc is causing the problem...

 

Sounds like the battery has drained. The clicking sound indicates the solenoid is actuating, but there is insufficinet current to turn the starter motor.

Try using jumper cables and a donor battery to start the car (be sure to follow correct procedures) and then have the battery tested. My OEM battery failed after 14 months.

DEALER JUST CALLED ME......it turns out that i have a faulty starter. hopefully this takes care of it.
