ok so i got in my car the other night to drive home and when i start my car the check engine light goes on and the motor starts missfiring and sounds like an STi. so i drove home and the next morning and i go to my friends shop down the street to check the cel with the obd reader and it says all four cylinders are missfiring and soime other light for an emission sensor. so later on that day the motor just stops misfiring and the check engine light goes off too. i thought wow thats odd.. now my car is pulling like it ususally does.. so the next morning im driving around town doing arons and the car ran great all day. i opened it up and vtec was fine and the car pulled great that day because it was cold out. so later on that day me and my friend go out for lunch and we drove seperate cars. the car was driving great and pulling nice all around. then i pull away from a light and i shift just after vtec in 1st and 2nd then in 3rd i redlined and i shift into 4th and the engine just completly shuts off like i ran out of gas or something just after i sifted into 4th. im like what the hell!! it was weird becasue the whole electric system in the car i guess reset because im looking at my apine headunit and its saying happy new year which means the battery or something reset!? so im turning the car over and it wont start. so me and my frined push my car across an intersection and once we were in the parking lot i tried to turn it over and it wouldn turn over anmore, it was just like the motor was seized. so i get the car towed and mean while i look at everything under the hood and the oil level is fine and everything look up to par. so i have the car towed to my house and the next morning i try to turn it on and it actually turned over so it was clear the motor wasnt seized. the car would just keep turning over and not start. but the motor almost sounds like it has no compreesion whille im turning it over like there arent any spark plugs in the motor if you know what i mean. so i dunno what could have posssibly happen to my car! i have no mods so... please help!! will my warranty cover this?

sounds similar to what happened to me a while bakc. i dropped a valve ...hope yours isnt that bad. headgasket maybe? any leaks? mine was leaking antifreeze out the TB and all that nasty stuff. just double chekc everything, like plugs

chekced plugs? take off the valve cover (dont know what thatll do, make sure evrythings in tact?) or just simply push start it
