Default Help! car won't start after replacing ignition coi

I was driving home the other day and my car started to misfire (sounded like a beat up motorcycle). I got the car towed home and found that the ignition coil was fried due to the sparkplug being completely loose. I don't know which cylinder that belongs to but if I was standing on the right side of the car, it would be the second one from the left. Anyways, i replaced that ignition coil and all 4 sparkplugs and now it would not start. What should I do at this point? I read that some people had to replaced their engine because of a loose sparkplug. Any input is greatly appreciated.

is the cranking? or is nothing happening?
check if your getting power to the coils?
if the spark plug was loose it might have caused damage but its most likely something more simple. check over your work did you gap the plugs?

The car is cranking, its just not turning over. I'm not getting any spark at all cylinders. I did not gap the sparkplug, but I don't think that has anyhting to do with it not getting spark.

the gap has nothing to do with no spark. i just didnt know if it was turning over or not.
do you have a service manual? you need to trace back down the harness and see what powers the coils either it be the ecu or a relay? ill check my manual and find out.

Sorry Mister Jew, I just found that the ingnition coil fuse inside the car the was blown . I hope you didn't waste too much time looking for info for me. My car now starts but the same cylinder that I replaced the ignition coil on does not spark; so that cylinder is out. Can I still drive to the shop at least or is it going to mess things up more.

thats good you found the blown fuse. always check the easiest things first and sometimes u get lucky. you shouldnt drive the car to the shop i mean you probably could but i would just get it towed. see if a friend has AAA its free. the coil u replaced was it replaced with a new coil? or a used one? try swapping the coils around and see if its the coil and not something else.

I got my car towed to a shop where one of the members work. He hasn't gotten back to me yet on what was wrong with it. I think it is something serious. At least it's out of my hands now.
