Default HELP: Clutch slipping???

I'm not sure...but here's the symptom:

2nd gear -- WOT, red line -- shift to 3rd, WOT, but even though the gas pedal is complete down, the tach shows revs dropping slowly to a certain point before 'catching' and shooting back up. The revs drop approx 1-1.5K before catching.

Is this a clutch slipping problem, or is this not a problem at all but just a characteristic of the notriously weak stock Honda clutch?

Any info is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Try this... Second at 6000 RPM or so... select into 4th... give it WOT... if the RPM's increase and the speed doesnt... chances are your clutch is slipping badly. That is what mine does... not pretty.

You'll smell it as well if it's slipping
