I have the same problem. Sounds like Honda should be ready for this one.

I just got back from vacation and my driver's side window has decided to take a vacation of its own.

Ditto, just had mine fixed. Dealer originally though it was the switch module (it has mucho electronics inside) but ended up being the motor itself. They order a replacement regulator, however, because it comes as a unit - you can't get just the motor.

The motor has a pulse output to signal when it hits bottom, my dealer implied this was the actual problem. It was signalling the switch module that it was stalled, and the module would disconnect power.

And yes, mine was intermittent for a while too, and was more likely to fail if the engine was running.

I feel your pain. Mine started at about 5000k. I know it can't be the motor because it works if I hold the button down. It must be the switch/regulator. My appointment with the dealer is this week. I will let you know what the outcome is.

I have 24k miles and my window just started doing the same thing. It does it either putting the top down or the auto down feature on the switch.

Since Family Honda in Rancho Santa Margarita is so close, I thought I'd try them even though there has been some comments of problems. Anyone had any recent experience?

Im not sure if I want to be without my s2k for the time it would take to be fixed?
