Default help guys... blown motor?

saturday night motor started a chatter, like valve/rocker flutter

monday morning halfway to work i lose about 25%+ power and hear a loud bang/knock, i pulled over and listened while running. had towed home. pulled head and all is perfect, cyl walls are perfect.

so what else could it be, prolly bottom end related???

i need some most likely options so i dont waste anymore time, thanks

btw, 117,000 miles, 4 or 5 redlines, very well serviced engine.

Check the timing, maybe the timing chain skipped a tooth or something. Also are you running an aftermarket clutch like an ACT? Could be crank walk (that's a wild guess).

Pull your oil pan, and inspect your rods, If you wiggle the big end where it connects to the crank, and it clanks, you spun a rod bearing.

ok, im droppin head back on, my dumbass didnt check timing before i pulled everything, and i recently swapped the TCT spring for a longer one, im hoping it just lost tension very fast and the chain jumped teeth.
