It depends on how much damage is done to the crank, The machine shop will need to inspect the crank to see if it is salvageble or not. I had a machine shop regrind a f22 crank and rod that has spun a bearing, they are in my current motor, and work great. The rod was around $25.00 and the crank was around $100 to do. Also you will need to order ACL .25mm over size bearings. to make this work.

That's what I thought, thanks. This will still just be for the back-up motor though.
