Prolly need to just follow the Helms service manual procedure. I haven't seen a writeup on it.

Get a helms manual. I followed the directions and it went pretty well. Had to ask and search for a few questions but I got it done.

How long did it take you roughly? I'm putting my headgasket in this Saturday.

you're basically removing the cylinder head.

advice: leave the intake manifold INTACT.

Good advice, but it is really hard to reach those bolts holding that coolant connector to the IM with out removing it.

Also just FYI there is a ground on the back of the cylinder head that needs to be removed before taking the head off, that step is not in the honda manual and it is fairly difficult to see.

^ I actually had the head most of the way off of the studs and held it there while removing that particular wire.
