Default Help with invidia header install

I have read most the header install threads (including xvipers) and i can not find help for my problem.

I removed the DC header that came on the car (very easy) and now im installing the invidia header. I have the header about half way seated right above the header studs. The problem is this, i can not get the header over the studs due to the fact of the header itself hitting the frame/firewall? (right below the battery/fuse box). The header design is bigger then the DC and that is why i am having problems.

What i have done so far, very carefully wedged a large screwdriver in there to push the motor out of the way to slip the header on, and i have jacked up the motor aswell. BTW i installed this header from the top.

Help! I have grease on my hands right now and im trying to finish!

Thanks in advance!

Its the forward two studs that are giving me clearance issues, but ill give it another shot from the bottom.

How much force should i use coming from the bottom, should the cleanance be fine with the tranny housing/block/firewall, or do i need to pry on it?

It should go right in with a bit of finesse, no prying or any forcing. If you pry or force it you could damage the header by putting a dent or puncture in a tube.

i dont think you have to remove the motor mount..i have the same headers and i didnt remove the motor mount. i just jack the car on four corners... then i jus work my way going up.dont use excessive force to avoid problems, just find the right angle on how to put that headers thru that space..it will work...
