help logging with AEM EMS
Ok, I've finally got a connection with the ECU through my laptop.
The help file isn't exactly helping me at all.
What I'm doing now:
Opening AEMPROv1.0, turning the car on (not cranking)...and connecting to the ECU.
Then I crank the car and go to the "logging setup" not sure exactly what heading it's under as I don't have my laptop near me...where I tell it to name it according to the date. Once I do that, the logging menu becomes available.
My question to you is: I'm correct that you log under aempro right? There's about 5 different icons on the desktop.
Also, once I'm connected to the ECU, what exactly do I need to do?
I'm not sure how to get it to load a parameter menu...i basically want to see my boost, throttle, rpms, and knock. If you can tell me how to get a parameter menu up once connected to the ecu, i'd appreciate it.
I guess I'm wanting a step by step guide after I'm connected to the ecu. Crank the car, then what?
Thanks guys, (sorry I'm a moron and can't figure this out). I logged without a parameter menu for about an hour before I realized it wasn't logging anything.
