Default Help me install my strut bar

Hello everyone, i wanted some help with installing my strutbar.
Im a "tech-n00b" and i do not know what to do. I have a cusco strut and was wondering if theres a way to install it.
putting it on with just a normal wrench or something seems like it would work.
but are there special requirements like using a torque wrench?

funny how i am having minor difficulties with what should be an easy install.

If you are running the Cusco OS or OS Wrapped in C/F bar then all you need is the proper size socket to get the strut nuts off. You will also need a pretty big size Alen wrench to loosen and tighten the ends. No torque wrench is necessary...unless you are really anal.

Since the nuts that hold the STB in place also hold your front shocks in the car, I would suggest torquing the nuts. The proper torque setting is 36 lbs.

I've helped put a few on some Civics and stuff. We never used a Tq wrench, but if you have the specs it's better safe than sorry. I suggest using the wrench.

It's never a bad idea to do it right. Tq wrench to the specs already mentioned.

Don't worry about removing the nuts without supposting the car or anything. The weight of the car will keep everything in place long enough for you to realize the bar was an unnecessary purchase

Though I would say it's a few steps up from a grounding kit.

Sorry, didn't mean to be mean, I get in to the buying mood myself and get things that won't necessarily help

IMO, you should get a X-brace. It actually does something instead of "bling"
