Can anyone help me troubleshoot this ECT (engine coolant temp) sensor. During my engine rebuild I stuck on a new sensor from autzone and now my temp gauge on the dash is maxed out whether the sensor is plugged in or not. At the plug I am getting 5v at the red/white wire but not sure what to check on the green/yellow. I am also on AEM v2. Please help ASAP!!!

No. I threw it away during the build. Sucks

 

The yellow/green wire should be signal wire if I'm not mistaken? You can check if you have some type of continuity through it. If not could some type of high resistance.

 

OEM sensor is available. No reason to use an AutoZone part.
