Default HELP with noise shifting into 1st

Okay I'm having trouble figuring out what this noise is or if it's just normal for s2ks. When I'm at a dead stop, on any road surface hill or not, I'll put the clutch to the floor shifting into first and I hear a thud from the back of the car. The dealer says that all the mounts for the rear diff are good, everything is torqued to spec and the prop/drive shaft u joints are all good. Here's the tricky part if I push the clutch pedal all the way down and wait a second and easy it into first it doesn't make the thud noise? Any ideas or thoughts are greatly appreciated.

PS I know dealers suck but I have a 4year 100,000 mile warranty and I've only put 1000 miles on it since I bought it. Also it's a 08 CR.

Its the sound of the output shaft (not moving at a stop) slowing down the input shaft (still spinning from moving). Like posted above just wait a few seconds and it will spin down on its own.

I noticed the same thing last night! I was worried a bit when I heard that considering my s has only 19k on her...

Its just things lining up and fitting together. As long as its just a thunk and not a grind or notchy metal on metal feel.

^^ Agreed, mine does the same. Wait 2-3 seconds and then slip it in.
