Default Help pulling a code of a UK 07

I've had a known good ODBII code reader hooked up to my 07 UK spec car (AP1, DBW, VSA, etc). When this same code reader was hooked up to a 99 it worked fine. When connected to my 07 it comes up with Link Error and does not read anything. Anyone got any ideas?

-06+ cars need a newer OBD reader. I can't remember exactly what the deal is but I think it's something about the fcan buss, not sure.

Billman had to let me borrow his at the dragon because the one I had did not work. I went and bought a new one of the same model I had and it worked fine.

Just find a newer reader and it will work.

Yeah, just found that out. Problem is, over here they are like £130 which is pretty close to $200.

Buy it in the us and have it shipped ... I picked mine up for $100 us.

I believe there is a way of pulling the code by jumping certain connectors, I would check the FAQ.
