Thumbs up Help:putting back OEM shocks

The fronts are done thanks to the DIYs...but can't get the bolt in for the rear lower OEM shock bracket...tried disconnecting sway links, used jack b/w the wheel well and upper A-arm...and so on..
The way in the DIYs are for the aftermarket shocks which is shorter...but OEMs are longer and that's the problem..
Should I disconnect something? or should I adjust camber? or any other tips?
Thanks in advance.

Jon

In case you are looking for DIYs

man, those are dope links.

i remember when i helped minboost do my coilovers, i had to stand on my rotor with full weight, and to stop the swaybar from counteracting my weight, the entire rear was lifted up.

so, maybe you just need to get more weight down on the rotor.

most afermarket shocks are shorter and don't see any problem putting them in...but OEMs are longer...
so do I need a helper who can stand on the rotors?!!
IF I can disconnect one of the bolts there and get that damn thing down, that would be easier since I will have to work alone..but no idea which one I should disconnect..You know, don't want something reversable..
Thanks, though...I will see if I can get a helper.

Jon

oh, I will get the alignment done again anyways..so it's not factor to consider..

I put a lug nut back on the wheel hub then used a 4-way lug wrench to push the arm down to line up the holes. A 2nd person would be real handy here.

use the oem jack and another object (in my case a jack stand) and jack the circular object right next to the brake dust shield. I was able to push the suspension down far enough to get the bolt through.
