Hey guys, This is weird and I have'nt heard or seen it on any other s2k but, My rpm guage is fading away. At 1-5 rpm it is really dark and at 6-9 its gets more color (the orangy-amber color) i have no idea what it can be. at First it started fading at 3000rpm now it faded even more to 5500rpm. Does anyone have a clue what this could mean and or how to fix it??? I will try to get some pics up ASAP so you guys know exactly what I am referreing to. thanks a bunch!

 

I have the same problem - I think the backlight LEDs in the gauge cluster are going out

I have the same problem on the right side of the dash. Where the gas gauge and upper RPM range on the tach. One of the LED's is going out in the back. If I recall there's about 5-6 LED's in the back to light up the dash. I'm just too lazy to change it.

 

there is no LED's in the cluster, just standard lamps

take the cluster out and exchange your lamps

 

iam7head - No is does not flicker. Just fades..and its really annoying lol.
