I use a wire gauge. Never broken a tip yet - done 1 S2000, 10 SVT Cobras, and 5 Z06 Vettes.

whew thanks alot guys, they way are motor runs i didn't want to take any chances of blowing it. just wanted to be absolutely sure. Better safe then sorry!
