thanks guys... so i just have to connect it from the intake manifold to the fuel pressure regulator? i shouldnt have that "T" connection there should i?

on the "T" connection... where does the 3rd side lead to? the connection is under the IM so its hard to get at and see where it goes...

time to ask the previous owner whats up!!

I knew it... you bought it used and the previous owner left out a few things while selling the car.

Dang that sucks!

You should have no "T" on a stock application. The "T" would have the line going to the rising rate fuel pressure regulator/FMU. On a Vortech you would have another 2 "T's" one to the timing controller, the other to the blow off valve (BOV). I don't think you car had a Vortech unit, the fitting in the line doesn't match anything with the Vortech kit.

Here is what mine looks like with the S/C installed.

On a stock car, that hose from the fuel pressure reg to the intake manifold should be one continuous line (NO T). It would seem the previous owner put the T in a different place but the principle would have been the same. Your car used to have a blower.
Your photo doesn't show it but where does the hose coming off the top of the FPR go? This what should be connected to the open end of the hose you found, however, you don't need it that long.
