Default Help with VTEC please!

Okay, so VTEC isn't working and I can't pin down a definite reason for the issue.
I have - 2003 model
- with a Comptech supercharger kit with aftercooler
- 3.0" pulley
- running a Haltech PnP ESM
- with 1000cc injectors

I took the car down to Jacksonville, Fl. to be tuned by Mase and after half a day on the dyno, we couldn't get VTEC to engage.
- We used a voltmeter to make sure the VTEC solenoid was getting the signal and it was.
- Oil level was just below the High marking on the dipstick
- I have installed an oil pressure gauge
* between 15 and 20 psi at idle (1000 rpm)
* about 75 psi at highway speeds (3500 - 4500 rpm)
* When going WOT to engage VTEC the pressure drops to around 60 - 65 psi but then rises back up to 75 psi
* I have tried replacing the VTEC solenoid with another used unit from a member here
- I have made sure the VTEC filter screen is clear of any debris

Does this sound like the oil pump is going out, or am I looking at something worse? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated because this is about to drive me crazy. Thanks!

Is this not in the correct sub. Or does no one have any kind of input?

check for busted rocker arm or loose cam caps.

Or a missing rocker/roller pin.

Yea, I was really hoping it wasn't the rocker arms, but it's a pretty high mileage engine. I guess I need to figure out how to check that.

If the solenoid is activating correctly the issue is probably in the cylinder head somewhere. Rockers or cam journals

My oil pressure is also a little low compared to some of the others I've seen posted around here. Any chance that the oil pump could be part of the problem? Or what would I be seeing if the oil pump is dying?

Well, I've decided to take it to the stealership to get some professional eyes on it. I'll update when I know for sure what's going on. Thanks for the help thus far.

take a modified car to a stealership are you freaking crazy, i wouldn't take a honda lawn mower there. Find a shop that specializes in S2000's or honda vehicles
