Default Help: Window Motor Replacement

I am currently in the middle of replacing my drivers side window motor. Can someone please explain to me how to reconnect the lift cables. I understand where they are supposed to go, but it just feels like there isn't enough slack in the line to get them around each of the pulley's. I've tried searching but have yet to find anything that explains this step.

Thanks.

This is what I am talking about.

This cable needs to go around the right side of the pulley. Does anyone know how to do this? I feel like I have tried everything.

Since Honda sells these already assembled, I realluy doubt anyone has done this before.

So how did you get it off in the first palce?

do you have a pic of the backside. How is the cable attached to the frame? Can you disconnect the white clip loop it and snap the clip back in?

The regulator is sold assembled, with the motor attached. There really is much to go by to put it back together. I'd take a look at the regulator in the other door to see if you can figure out if you can get the cables installed correctly.

alright, he bought the regulator motor from me, and when disassembling it, it was tensioned enough to where I just pried a little bit with a screwdriver and it popped off the pulley. we're trying to figure this out now on his window "frame". there doesn't seem to be enough slack in the cable at all to get it over the pulleys. even just a half inch more would do it. the only thing I can think of would be a special tool possibly?

There is no special tool available to dealers as this is sold as an assembled component.
