Default Odd clutch hydraulic system problem

Dear Exceptionally Wise Forum,
I have an AP1. Under hard acceleration, hard braking, or hard turning (read: higher than normal g's), my clutch pedal becomes vague. When this happens, the catch point seems to shift further back in the pedal swing. Usually when I feel the pedal do this, i take pressure off of the pedal and pull the transmission into neutral, then I steer the car into a path of lower lateral force, at which point the pedal seems to restore itself. When I fail to do this, and go through with the gear change, the clutch linkage next to the slave cylinder explodes. Sometimes the release fork comes out of its hanger. Sometimes the little brass (?) rod comes out of the pivot point on the release fork. One time, the slave cylinder exploded and I lost all my clutch fluid. (I rebuilt the cylinder and it seems to function fine again, though the overall problem remains).

Note that: this problem began after a clutch change and engine rebuild, I have bled the clutch and rebuilt the slave cylinder attempting to fix this problem, and the clutch functions perfectly when I'm not driving too fast.

Could this be divine intervention? Or is something broken on my car? If something is broken, what the hell is it?

Thanks in advance,
LRW

Damn.....
no idea, maybe you should replace the master cylinder ?
I hope my car does not catch exploding clutch syndrome.

The clutch fork is held in place by a clip - inside the clutch housing.

Item #5 (IIRC)
Maybe that clip is damaged, bend out of shape or missing.
I don't think you can access the clip from the outside.

Before this all started, did you do a DIY slave cyl change/adjustment?

When i first did mine, the slave piston wasnt sitting properly in its hole, and it would 'explode' - or the piston would slip off, and shoot into the trans, and I had to redo everything.

If you think that's messed up, aftermarket k-series clutches have a lower profile pressure plate than stock clutches, resulting in a clutch pedal that doesn't throw the plate far enough out to engage gears well.

the solution is to drop the transmission... again, and add a washer to the pivot ball on the throwout arm to add some travel distance to compensate for the lower pressure plate diaphragm springs.

god... i want to kill myself because i have to do this eventually.
