that's how mine acted when the bulb was dying.
you just need a new bulb

also the oem bulb is a 6000k or 8000k>????

you need philips 85122 d2s bulbs............they are 4100-4300k...i cant remember what philips rates them at because i read SOOOO much about HID's .......nothing more than 4300k though

did you swap bulbs?

You sure you really want to pay dealership prices for bulbs and diagnosis? GL then.

I don't remember ever needing a special tool to take off the bulb. Unless you are talking about the torx bit. You can get those cheap anywhere.

Do us a favor and post up what the dealership wants to change the bulbs out. I'm assuming ~ $500 including new bulbs.
