Default High Pitch sound

Hey guys,

i was hoping someone could help me troubleshoot a noise that my ap1 is making. Recently i started noticing a high pitched whistling sound every time i would give the car throttle. It tends to happen from 2nd to 4th gear, if i press the gas pedal about halfway as im driving i hear the noise. But once i let off, or put it in neutral there is no noise. I was thinking there was a leak maybe somewhere in the air box. Anyhow, if someone could get me any input it would greatly appreciate it! thanks

i have a similar noise, sounds like a squeaking/whistling on the throttle.. really can't hear it unless the top/windows are up though. i've had it since I bought the car, doesn't seem to affect anything.

if its a chirping sound that happens while accelerating then its normal.. has happened to my Prelude, happens to my S2K and is very loud and happens on my mates DC2. I think its got something to do with the pod filters (dunno?), all I know is its nothing to worry about.

The throttle plate acts like a whistle at certain angles due to its path in the air stream. Completely normal. If you find the sweet spot you can make it happen every time.
