Have anybody have HKS spark plug on S2000, I was going to get better spark plug pretty soon, I don't know i should get HKS or Denso. Please Help Me Out!

Do you feel or see any different after you install Denso on you S2000.
What part # Denso spark plug will fit on S2000.

 

The VTEC kicked a tad harder. Thats about all

 

Have you have any problem Denso spark plug so far.
And where i can get it.

 

I have the Denso #IK22 & is it true that you have to re-gap it to .44 before you put them in or can I just put them in the way they are (.40)?

 

You could put them in ungapped if they really came at .040, but they don't. I think the IK22's come at .036 so they do require gapping for the S2000. Gap them without putting pressure on the center electrode. I am very happy with the performance at .045.

 

Chris, I have no idea how to do this. Can you show me how to do this in person?...Plus, the fact that I have no tools basically. If not, then it's cool. Thanks for the info. Also, is yours the IK22 or IK24?

 

Sure I can show you but this is pretty simple.. first go to the store and buy one of these:



Just use one of the slots to slightly bend the outside electrode and measure carefully with the appropriate gauge being careful to only have the lightest contact with the center electrode.
