Default Honda ECU reprogramming

Hi, Folks,

Does anyone out there re-program the stock Honda ECU chip? You know, modify when the V-tec cuts in, change the rev limiter... that sort of thing?

Inquiring minds (sic) want to know.

Pretty sure you can't reprogram the s2000's ecu like another honda k series. But what you can do is add a vafc or a EMS or any other kind of piggyback. I know you can change the vtec transition with the vafc but i'm not sure about the revlimiter.. just wait for the pros for a good answer.

The AEM standalone is the way to go

Sorry Jim the Stock PCM can't be easily reprogrammed. Aren't you using a TEC 3 on the salt flats car?

Yeah slows2k,

I do use a TEC 3 on the Salt. I just had an idea for a product to sell that would save a few of y'all a whole bunch of money. If you had a TEC 3 it would be easy to implement, but I'm trying to make it for the average S2000 owner so I can sell more.

BTW check out scta-bni.org I finally got my 15 minutes of fame.

All the best,

Jim
