When my hood is closed,if I press on it,seems like there is a 1/8¨ play,and a gap.
How do I adjust the hood latch ?

 

There are three small 10mm bolts on the front latch, once you loosen them the latch moves up and down, then just re-tighten when you get it to your desired point. Before you loosen the bolts, use a pencil or white-out (liquid paper) and make a mark around the latch so you can just if it has moved up or down after the bolts are loosened, you can also use it as a reference in case you want to move it back to it's original location.

The 1/8th inch play in the hood can be fixed by raising the two rubber stops at the front hood crossmember, but that won't fix the gap that you describe. It might be fixed by lowering the latch, but if you go too low the hood will be hard to close, you need to find a happy medium.

 

Where is the play? Is it in the center by the latch or at the edges where the hood meets the edge of the fender? Those rubbers at the edge are for adjusting the height of the hood edge so they are level with the fender edge. If those are level and flush with each other, leave them alone. If the play is in the center, then adjust the latch down about 1/8". While you're in there, spray some white lithium grease on the latch and the striker on the hood so they mate smoothly. The final test is that the hood should latch completely when dropped from about 1 to 2 feet up.
