What does your car idle at? 900-1k = normal.

reset ecu, 2 ways

1) take off neg terminal for 1 min, put back on and start car, let idle for 2-3 mins without touching anything or turning anything on. Turn off, restart and good to go.

2) Take out the 7.5 back up ecu fuse, leave out for a few mins and then put back in, and start car, let idle for 2-3 mins without touching anything or turning anything on. Turn off, restart and good to go.

Just had reason this week to speak with my Honda mech regarding relearning the idle after clearing a CEL (effectively resetting the ECU). Mech stated the car should idle for 10 minutes...no pedal inputs...A/C off...etc. While I'm sure the 10 minutes was suggested if the car were 'cold'...fact is 2-3 minutes may not be sufficient duration. Take this info for what its worth .
