How do you get rid of the Maint Req'd light?

Well the maint. req'd light goes off every 7,000 I believe.....to remind you that you have your next oil change coming up, as suggested in the S2000 manual... I dont wait that long. I usually change my oil every 4000 miles..

This is the first time mine has ever gone off. It came on just before 15k.
I usually change my oil every 3-4,000 miles also. It can't sense an oil change can it?

I always have to break out the manual when the light comes on, too. There should be a less cryptic way to reset it.

Just think, they're talking about the OBD-3 computers actually shutting down the car if the oil change intervals aren't followed.
