How does my engine sound? is this 'rattle' the TCT?
Hey!
My 2006 has developed a rattle only around the ~3k rpm mark. It does it in neutral and when in gear. After 3k it sounds fine. It's not obvious from inside but with the hood popped there might be a little rattle on idle, but I'm not convinced, I'd have thought nothing of it if I didn't have the obvious rattle when accelerating. It doesn't seem to drive any different.
The sound seems to be coming from the top of the engine. I originally thought it was a rattle and a heat-shield or something would be lose but now I think this is either the TCT or valves.
I've attached some videos and any advice would be much appreciated.
What's your thoughts?

Sounds like something related to exhaust system. Loose heatshield, rattling catalytic converter, or loose baffle in exhaust muffler.
I had Greddy SE dual v2 that would rattle at 4k RPM. The baffles on right muffler came loose after only 10k miles. Wasn't too happy about that or their customer service :/
