Default Listen to my engine. Not sure if tct or normal engine sound

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGQx0gFf2VE Short clip of what my engine sounds like. I just bought the car a couple of weeks ago so I have no idea if this is normal or not. Is this the tct or just normal engine noise?

Was the engine cold or warm when you took that video? I think I can hear a slight TCT noise (like a card in a spoke wheel) but it wasn't very prominent. It doesn't hurt to change out the TCT anyway - go with Billman's TCT and never worry about it again.

Engine was warm. I posted another video and post. Sound is coming mostly from the exhaust manifold. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHzrK7k1ACM

The engine sounds fine, mine sounds like this since the day I purchased the car. It usually sounds worse when cold.

Comforting ha. I think I will do both no matter what though. At 90k miles its about due and I don't think either have ever been done.

That sounds perfect to me, just the right amount of valve clatter, injectors firing smoothly, enjoy
