How does S2k respond to mods?
Hi! I'm buying a 04 S2k in about a month. I'm wondering how does the S2K respond to mods? It seems like, intakes, header and exahaust are not making much of difference. Is comptech supercharger the most common way to go for S2k?

The most common mod is probably a CAI although some people like the bling bling and put cool badges on the car. So far I haven't heard of the car responding poorly to the cool badges. Maybe you could post what your goals are for the car and we could actually give you some specific thoughts about whether those goals were attainable.

don't jinx yourself, nobody wants a lemon. It doesn't respond like mustangs do to mods, but it will put out a few more ponies...for a price. I/H/E still common, but don't look for peak gains; midrange is where it needs it, and this is where those mods seem to have the most impact. also, weight reduction mods make a big difference in overall performance. The car will be a bit more powerful with an exhaust, but even if it didn't make any extra power the light weight of a single Titanium exhaust would improve performance.

The only mod I had done for my S is replaced the spare tire with three old pillows. The car is quieter with both top up and down. The cost is only $4 for a can of tire inflation and pray that I will not use it.
The next one is a Voodoo shift knob ?
