i am new to the whole s2000 scene and am planning on making some decent power with my ap1. i have searched but could not find 2 of the same answers. i was wondering how much hp the motor can handle with all stock internals. also was wondering how much torque the stock tranny and rear can handle

 

You should probably post this in the Forced Induction forums. I've heard that 400-500 whp is possible on stock internals.

 

Close to 700whp on race gas has been done by a few members. I think 450-500whp will last a long time.

 

As I read it he is asking about trans and rear. Both are fine up to 600/700 unless you abuse the car or plan to drag race. If you are smooth with your launch and shifts 350 to 450hp is fine and will last.
