Default how much horsepower is needed to make a difference?

can you actually feel a difference with 5HP vs 10HP gain?

say if you were racing another car, how much HP would be needed to overtake it if the difference was half a car length or a full car length?

5-10 Horsepower is hard to notice without a dyno.

1. You might be able to tell a small difference in lap or 1320 times, but a butt dyno wouldn't be able to tell 5hp. Even with a dyno, that's close to margin of error in the dyno's accuracy.

2. You need to know the rate of acceleration of your opponent as well to answer this.
