You gotta know the code or your radio is dead in the water. If you don't know the code, you'll need to take the car with radio to a dealer and convince them you didn't steal it and they can find the code for you.

the sticker under my secret compartment lid only reveal the serial number, which is the same number of your radio.

i took the number to the dealer and they give me the code

they did not ask for vin, id or anything other than serial number and a big smile

So much for having an "anti-theft" radio.

wtf!!!

i have my radio code. it is a 5 digit number. i input it and it says error. the instructions on my radio code card says if it says error, to keep inputing it. so i did thinking it would eventually work out.

after several tries...now i am locked out from putting anything.

should i disconnect the battery and do it all over again? could the dealer have given me the wrong code? WTF!!!

yes the dealer could have given you the wrong code. go back and double check.
unplug the battery for, if i remember correctly, 10 minutes get rid of the error code.
