How to remove and install the ECU
you have to take it to a honda dealer to get them to re-key your keys to match the new ECU being put into your car. unless you have like a spoon ecu or something where there is no immobolizer. just bring your new ecu, your car, and all your keys to honda and have the VIN# for the new ecu incase they need it and they will do it for around $150. takes like an hour... i've swapped ecu's 3 times now
Well I wasn't 100% clear when I made my appointment if they will install the new ECU and reprogram the immobilizer. Maybe I should call back. They told me it was $115. So I am hoping they'll install the ECU for me.
