Default How to remove OEM wing/spoiler?

When I bought my car (2007), it came with a OEM wing/spoiler and now I'm considering removing it.

Are there instructions on how to remove this?

I did a few searches but haven't found any clear instructions.

Pop the trunk and remove the 4 bolts. The wing will come off...

Yep. My OEM deck lid had the AP2 wing on it. Right now I have white electrical tape over the holes. Ghetto, but it works and is hard to see. Need to get it to my painter to fill and paint them.

Removing the wing is very easy. Like mentioned above, remove the nut/bolt on each side from underneath. The two forward screws are located behind the black bumper on the underside of the trunk lid, they just screw out, and you'll see the bolt.

The trickiest part is separating the 3M tape. This is where you'll need a good fishing line.

Use floss, fishing line will scratch the paint.
