Default OEM Hardtop rattle

Just installed OEM Hardtop with OEM hardware. There is a rattle coming from behind the driver's side that sounds like it's coming from somewhere the soft top is folded down. Thought it was the soft top latch rattling so I completely took off the soft top latch but the rattle is still there. For some reason it rattles non-stop in the mornings but later in the day the rattle disappears.

I've read about the latches on the hardtop itself giving away but these are on tight with no noise coming from front.
Did not receive the soft top link stopper rubber pieces from keeping the hardtop squishing the soft top (part #: 86445-S2A-000) could missing these rubber pieces be causing the rattle?

I have the same problem, check the panels. A clip may be lose. It may just be the soft-top begging you to take it out since you have a sweet @ss hardtop lol

Have you found the source of your problem? Which panel and clip are you referring to? I just ordered the 2 rubber caps you put on the soft top and a rubber piece that goes on the metal piece in the back-bottom of the hardtop because I am missing one hoping that's the problem.

So quiet when driving home after it's warm but rattles like crazy in the early A.M.
Ordered softop rubber link cap and the rubber piece that goes over the metal hitch in the back of the hardtop. I suspect it's the bigger rubber piece on the hardtop as it's missing it on the driver's side and the creaking comes from the spot..

Part numbers:
86445-S2A-000 RUBBER, SOFT TOP LINK SPACER
74812-S3A-J10 CUSH,SIDE GATE

Just curious if you did a full rear latch adjustment when you installed the hardtop, they need to be fitted/adjusted to each vehicle or you will get rattles as the rear latches might not be tight enough.

hey no I haven't found the squeak yet but one of my inner panels has a tab that holds the other panel close to it that is broke so those two panels rub I think that's my problem. the rubber stoppers don't really do anything. mie don't even touch the top

Update: Ordered the missing driver's side rubber piece on the hard top latch and it went away.
