How should the transmission behave if the clutch isn't fully disengaging?

Any possibility that adjusting the clutch for more freeplay is now causing a synchroniser issue?
The clutch is probably dragging on shifts if you have more freeplay than you need.

Why only third gear then? The clutch is adjusted properly, the pedal has like 1/4" before it touches the master, the master itself has zero slop. I am missing a pressure plate bolt, that could be the issue. But it's weird because all other gears work perfectly, even the occasional slight grind I had going to 5th is gone. Reverse has never been easier to engage. Also noticed my throttle cable is a little loose, just haven't gotten around to adjust that either.

I know that, and I used a torque wrench the first time I did the clutch (like 6 years ago), it isn't the OEM flywheel though, it's one of those chrome-moly ones they sell on Ebay for $144. I didn't R&R the transmission this time, the person doing the engine swap did, wish he would have told me it broke I could have just gotten a new one along with new bolts. Probably wanted my car out of there and figured it would be fine, well now he gets to hang on to my car again.
In his defense I should have known better than use a cheap ebay flywheel, but that flywheel went on the car 6 years ago. Also, for the record let it be shown that the bolt broke when it was being removed, not when it was being installed.
A lesson to those out there using those 10lb ebay chrome moly flywheels, if you're going to do the clutch again REPLACE THE FLYWHEEL, there's probably a reason the OEM one costs ~$300+ cause it can easily be re-used.
