Default Humming noise from rear

I heard it for a second time today, a quite periodic humming noise from the rear left I think. The car is in the garage stationary so its not transmission, bearings etc. The key is out of the ignition so there is not power going to it, I would think.

Its sounds like its a round the fuel tank location so is it the pump? But I thought the power would have been cut to it.

I can't relate any problem to it but still very curious even if its normal

cheers

I seem to remember someone else having an awkward noise coming from the car after it was turned off. Unfortunately, I can't remember for the life of me who it was and if they determined what it was. Maybe try searching some, you may find something.

It is indeed the fuel tank/fillercap, they all do that, I thinks it's just the way these fuel tanks are vented, when it next does it just crack open the filler cap and it will stop.
