Default I can't get the intake manifold off.

I'm pretty sure that I have all the bolts/nuts off the head/brackets. Does anyone have any insight on removing the intake manifold?

Thanks
-Anthony

If you are sure all nuts and bolts have been removed, how about Rubber Hammer? Also there are two locations you can use a pry bar on.

I know there is at least 10 bolts that mount the manifold to the head...

^^ Right on 5 above and 5 below the runners the 3 furthest to the back require some serious extensions and swivels and patience to get to.

I think those r the 2 still on. I did that the first time I removed it.

Like stated before, you might need a rubber mallet to loosen it.

just going from memory here but there are the 10 main bolts (well 8 bolts 2 nuts i think) and there are 2 bellow and then you have the two brackets one on the front and one on the side above the alternator.

It helps to remove the 3 hoses near the firewall. one is a pain because it has a double clamp on it. i replaced it with a screw type hose clamp.

this will let you see a bolt that you dont think is there =]

Rubber mallet and WD40 should do the trick. If not, try duct tape and zip ties. If that fails, it's time for the plasma torch
