Default I don't suppose this wiring is normal?

Was looking around under the hood today and noticed a portion of the wiring directly under the brake master cylinder is not wrapped. No idea if it's been like this since I got the car, but am guessing it's not supposed to be like that. Can anyone confirm?

It looks like your wire loom has broken/ fallen apart below. If you're talking about the single wire for EPS it does not have loom/wrap on it from factory for short distance.

Sorry - was referring to the wire loom. I looked closer and it does look like a critter (mouse) was in there at one point. I vacuumed out the area and there's no evidence of anything returning. I'm guessing it's been like this for many years and I never noticed.

I guess I'm very lucky that the wires themselves don't appear to be compromised.
